What’s been the latest buzz about Fast Track this week?
Brandi Tolliver just attended her first PUG meeting where Dane Sanders was speaking. It was a very heartwarming and emotional experience for her. After participating in the meeting she only had wonderful things to say about what Dane had taught her, and who he is as a person. Brandi had great self discovery through the meeting, and has new aspirations to apply Dane’s ideas into her personal photography methods. She posted a blog to share her encounter.
“The part that stuck out the most for me was…stop being afraid to fail, to stand out, to believe the truth because everything is already inside and if I set my mind to it…IT IS POSSIBLE (and yes, it will take hard work).”
Lloyd England asked the question “Who is Dane Sanders?”. With his eager to know the answer, he applied to win Dane’s “Fast Track Photographer” book on Twitter. After winning a copy, and recently receiving it in the mail, he is really excited about diving into the book and learning about who Dane is and how to become a Fast Track Photographer.
As a regular attendee of the PUG meeting, Connie Rollins was especially interested in going to this years event. She had heard great things about the speakers coming and was looking forward to listening and learning more. Connie was having a great time talking about photography and business that the time flew by. She enjoyed Dane’s use of questioning the audience and making them really think about who they are, and what they want to achieve.
“Dane asked us a lot of thought provoking questions about how we personally viewed ourselves as photographers and how we perceived our businesses. We left with a lot to think about, and a lot of action items to complete.”
Love Life Images blog recently talked about how important they feel the Fast Track Photographer workshop is. They encourage anyone in the Washington D.C. area to come out on Feb. 10-11th to learn why Dane’s Fast Track ideas have been such a hit throughout the photography community. In the blog they mention the major topics to be discussed at the workshop and how it can benefit you.
“If you haven’t seen him speak, then you are missing out on something very special. He’s considered one of the top educators in the wedding industry. But, it goes beyond that. This tour is about how to help you define yourself both as an artist and within your business. Two very, very important componants of success in photography and in this market”
Check out more here. Love Life Images is also giving away a special discount to those who sign up for the workshop!
Gwendolyn Tundermann made a visit to the PUG meeting. In her blog about her time there, she starts off by wishing Dane a very Happy Birthday. She goes on to explain how inspiring Dane was at the meeting, and how Fast Track Photographer has been a great help in shaping her ideas of the Photography business. Dane’s workshop really made an impact on her, and she put into great words how it helped her.
“He literally wrote the book on how to start your photography business the right way with “Fast Track Photographer.””
“A lot of what I learned was deeply personal and it will be a different experience for everyone. Dane really encouraged me to listen to the conversation I was having internally, which is usually discouraged when someone is speaking. But there were some definite “A ha!” moments that I had during the workshop and I would have tuned them out had he not encouraged me to listen.”
What’s been the latest buzz about Fast Track this week?
Scott Bourne recently discussed the importance of looking at the business side of Wedding Photography. When looking for resources he says that Dane Sanders’ book Fast Track Photographer is “a must read”. He goes on to add that Dane’s “new book is coming out soon and I am sure it will also be helpful.”
On Marla Dee’s blog she mentions how much she enjoys Dane’s ideas presented in his Fast Track Photographer book, and recommends it to those pursuing photography careers.
“He is simply amazing how he explains the YOU-niqueness to your business. Along with a whole lot of other ideas and advice.”
After attending the Imaging USA Conference, Rich Smith tells how Dane along with the other speakers at the conference inspired him as well as others.
“Dane, along with each of the subsequent speakers, was inspirational to Rich and I. And the particularly exciting thing was that they all had different stories, different perspectives, different styles of photography, and different business practices.”
Kricia Morrisnot only praises Dane Sander’s amazing personality, but touches on how her Fast Track Workshop experience in Maui changed her life, and influenced her thoughts about photography and business.
“Dane is an individual that you are truly blessed to have in your life. He is inspiring, gregarious, funny and challenging, all rolled up into a firecracker of a motivational package. Over the two and a half days that we were there, Dane challenged us to forget that we were photographers, and concentrate on ourselves and individuals again.”… “My business and my branding are about ME. I want all of my clients to really get to know who I am, and I want to know who they are. I want to share stories and I want to make friends, and the only way I can do that is to be true to myself in the long run!”.
When Keri asked Dane Sanders how he managed to balance family and business, his answer blew Keri away. She comments how she has now adopted a new motto and lifestyle based on Dane’s response.
“He told us he doesnt believe in balancing but rather out of balance. He goes ‘all in business’ or ‘all in family.’ In order to make wide awake decisions in both business and family he allows one or the other to ’suffer’ a day or two while he nurtures the other. Brilliant. It’s like someone slapped me or gave me a breath of fresh air.”
It’s inspiring to hear such positive responses out there! We continually have our ears to the ground to hear how Fast Track is taking hold!
In Sveltana Yanova’s blog, she writes that the upcoming May 5th-6th Calgary Fast Track Seminar will be “a fantastic way to network and make new friends among photographers and interact in a great and friendly environment learning new things about you, your business and your clients”
Mary Gardella is blogging about ramping up to host the Feb 10th-11th DC/Maryland Roadshow Workshop. Workshops are only for 20 people, spots are filling up fast! She writes:
“…it’s going to be amazing. If you haven’t seen him speak, then you are missing out on something very special. He’s considered one of the top educators in the wedding industry. But, it goes beyond that. This tour is about how to help you define yourself both as an artist and within your business.”
“What makes Dane a success and a leader as a professional photographer? It’s very simple – he puts more weight on focusing on his family, friends and giving back to the industry and community than he does on focusing his camera. As simplistic as that sounds, pick up a copy of Fast Track Photographer and you’ll see what I mean after the first twenty pages.”
Leila Jones writes about the Fast Track Workshop that she went to last year on her blog. If you are interested in learning more about the Roadshow Workshop, please visit the Fast Track Store.
“Again, if you are a new photographer or seasoned photographer I highly recommend investing in one of Dane’s workshops. It will equip you with the knowledge, insight, and tools that will help you shape your emerging business. It was an awesome experience getting to know the other attendees and witnessing growth and transformation in just two short days.”
