Wish this was viewable on an iPad or iPhone, guess it is flash based because it will not show.
I am at my day job and all streaming content is blocked so I can’t watch it on my work computer; if I could see it on one of my devices I could watch, but…
I will just have to guess it was a good event.

I have a fairy large living room in my home that I want to turn into a presentation/sell room. Since it’s my home and not a studio, is it okay to display all faces of my work or should I keep the work on the walls to people that I’m close to? Strangers or loved ones??
Thanks so much!

First, I’d like to say, “Thank you for taking your time to create this webinar and for sharing your thoughts.” My comment is that I thought the webinar was going to be a more straight-forward approach on HOW INTERIOR DESIGN CAN BOOST YOUR PHOTO BIZ. I received an AA in Interior Design, but I’m a photographer because I find more instant JOY in my clients’ faces when I present my photographs to them. I thought there was more “chit-chat” between Lori and Dane (‘sorry) and less 1-2-3 Here Are the Steps to Getting the Client in Your Door, or rather, How to Get Into the Clients’ Doors. I must have missed something. My time is very valuable and I felt that I only received 5-10 minutes of actual practical tips. ‘Sorry, once again, for the negative comments.

I missed this, due to being sick this morning. Is it archived some place. I really need to get this information. I’m one of those frustrated with pricing photographers.
Thanks.

Gretchen,
In a home studio, I think it’s much more valuable to show your clients how YOU would decorate with portraits than to show everything you have to offer. Display portraits of your own family – even those photographed by another photographer! This is okay… it shows your clients how much you believe in photography and in designing with personal art!
HI Ellie, I’m sorry you didn’t feel you got a lot of content about interior design specifically. It’s certainly hard to cover everything in a short amount of time! Lucky you to have a background in Interior Design! I’m sure it’s a really great complement to what you do and leading your client through the experience with your expertise and knowledge!

Dane and Lori…Great job…Thank you for bringing some real world experience out to the front lines. Wall concepts is something we should all be offering. 100% agree with you Lori on setting up a system to get wall images of your client’s home. Thanks again.

Speaking of workshops and my experience
I have to mention to everyone that most of my business comes from bulk email that I sent out for my workshops for new photographers. I don’t really photograph anything anymore. I just wanted to make it clear. I photographed for 2 years and decided it’s not my thing and I rather teach as it’s a bit easier and no hassle.
thank you again to all who comes to my workshops. Without you, I’d be a stay at home mom and have no job at all.
Thank you again and please come to my next seminar
